Name: A boy has no name
12/4/22, AN
IITB: Aerospace engg with minor in Humanities and social sciences (HSS); PSIR; 5th attempt, 3rd mains, 1st PT
Barely any focus on my daf like hobbies internship etc. Most questions on Aerospace and PSIR overlap areas, IR with focus on Trade.
Mocks: very very useful (atleast for me) I gave 6 mocks and 6-8 one to one sessions in 15 days. All helped me. The mock which i thought was bad helped me most. So give any mock. Dont judge the panel (just choose panels with bureaucrats thats all). I asked a frnd who scored great last yr in PT to take my mock in the mng of my PT day also. I wanted to be in the zone. In final PT I felt i was giving just another mock in terms of confidence and composure
Mocks help to pool questions also and makes ur communication presentation better
My PT was 80% knowledge oriented (heard that Vyas sir is usually more knowledge oriented than other members )
...................
Last but one to go to BB Vyas sir board. it was around 25min
It was cordial but not as much as others felt. The chairman was surely friendly (atleast tried to be). Panel members treated this as QnA session than conversation.
Asked only to pull down mask to chin level. Gloves and shield on

Overall: felt like they were more interested in testing my knowledge than my opinions. I ld say this is not only personality test but also a knowledge test. But then knowledge has its own personality i guess. Lucky that i was asked mostly on areas i prepared. was able to answer 80-85% of questions asked (but donno how much they were satisfied..they all had poker faces mostly)
PT was very similar to Vajirao and reddy mock. Similar type of questions and ambience (knowledge based).
Felt good after coming out of PT.
1-1 with khan sir (ksg) put a smile on my face and i carried it to the PT also especially while talking to the chairman
