Tips for effective notes making

 Tips for effective notes making.

Even when one overcomes the lethargy of picking the pen and writing,It is always difficult for students to decide what is important and what not while making a note. here are few tips

1. your note should be concise.

do not write anything which you are not going to read again, ask this question to your self before noting anything down.

2. use diagrams and charts to save space and for quick revision.

3. write in shorthand,no need of grammatical accuracy.

4. you are not going to start making perfect notes in a day, initially you will end up writing lot of useless stuff. but dont stop yet, perfection comes from practice. unless you are in pain you won't discover a short and effective method.

5. use different coloured pens to add new information on old notes.

6. do not write what you can remember,it will only add useless pages to your notes, making it difficult to revise.

7. write what is relevant from exams point of view. for this you should always keep a copy of syllabus handy.

8. There are two type of notes.

a) extensive - i rarely made any and used notes of coaching institutes such as vajiram and others.

b) Micro notes. which are made for the purpose of quick revision, solely from perspective of mains.

9. There is no need to reinvent the wheel. act smartly, use the note of toppers to save time.

I will be sharing my notes on this platform regularly. hope you get benefitted.

finally all notes are USELESS if you cant revise it. so REVISE!! at regular intervals. Make a revision schedule.

Thank you
